Word game for the Third Millennium

WYSP is an abstract word game for two players. The first version of rules was invented in autumn 2009. Game was played two years online with various rules. Final rules are the result of more than 20.000 games played by 800 players. Game was played on various size boards, in 11 languages, and more than ten variants of rules. Thanks to all players, game has very simple rules and deep strategy.

Some main differences between WYPS and other popular word games:

Simple rules. Rules are simple, board is plain without special fields, stones are without numbers, and you do not need calculate points.
Length of the game. The main variant on board with size 13 fields per side is played 30-40 moves. The game could be played on smaller board too. For example on board with seven fields per side has game only 7-12 moves.
Deep strategy. Game is not based only on ability to found long word from your letters. Very important is positions on board, free fields in corners, occupancy of central points, structure of letters in your and opponents rack, etc.
